Shock around the clock, from noon 'til noon

Men grabbin' they mics and stuff 'em into the womb

I could write long essays just breaking down one song based on the lyrics. I don’t think anyone did it better in the 90s.

It's heartbreaking that a lot of the issues Rage were raging about in the 90s are still around today -- or, indeed, have worsened. It's a shame that more artists -- who, as a rule, have a degree of empathy about them -- don't tend to control the levers of power.

Fun Rage trivia: if you watch the video for Sleep Now in the Fire, there's a prescient clip of somebody holding a 'Donald J Trump for President 2000' placard, at about the 1-minute mark.

Oh wow. That is creepy the “Trump for President” eventually came to fruition.

I love this! I have been a Rage fan since 1992. It is the type of music that gets you to think. And like you said, it is just as relevant today as it was 30 years ago. It is crazy that we are still experiencing the same things today as we did back then, and it even seems more prevalent now.

Without a Face really hits for me. The bull shit by Stephen Miller has me raging.

What an incredible message and gift. Rage is the epitome of a band with the ability to “rock the vote.” We must all take part.

They’ve always stressed their listeners to think critically and ask questions. You can still love your country by doing those things. It’s maddening when it’s perceived as “if you don’t like it here, live somewhere else.”
